The acronym Ánimo, ¡Chévere! stands for Academic Network for International Mobility: Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela and Europe reaching for excellence. It is composed of two Spanish words
- Ánimo: This word means encouragement and is known in the entire Spanish speaking world. It represents the spirit of the project to invite candidates to take part in an enriching and promising experience abroad.
- Chévere: This word means great or fantastic and is only known in Latin America. It represents Latin America and complements the main title of the project.
The fact that two Spanish words emerge from an English title visualizes the multilingual and multicultural aspects of the project and is a symbol for exchange and mobility.
The logo is based on the acronym and the title of the project. The colours were taken from the flags of the European Union and the Latin American countries involved. The strong accent in the background represents the positive and inspiring effect that a stay abroad will have on moving students and staff.
